Hello, Guys! 👋
Hey there! I’m Janet, and I survived (and even thrived) in Year 12 by embracing my core theme: connection. Now, my mission is to help you stay balanced through your studies – because if I can do it, so can you! 😊 I graduated high school as a School Prefect and Science Captain with a 99.75 ATAR and State Rank in Latin Extension (4th in State). I really enjoyed the subject and even managed to slip in time to revise for it before debating comps 😁 Since I was young, I was always fascinated in the power of connection in learning. By focusing on understanding core concepts, breaking them down and seeing how they related to each other, I was able to study more efficiently and prioritise key insights. My love for the languages led me to study on a 100% Academic Scholarship at SCEGGS Darlinghurst where I was able to maintain a balance between academics, sports, debating and socialising. After graduating, I shared this philosophy with my students, emphasising the importance of making connections with their subjects on a deeper level and truly enjoying the process of learning. Now, I’m breaking my time up between studying for Bachelor of Medical Studies/Doctor of Medicine at UNSW, trail-cycling in Sydney and catching up with friends for some Bingsu and karaoke.
