Hello, Guys! 👋
Hi! My name is Isabelle, and I am currently studying a Bachelor of Education (Secondary) at the University of Sydney, majoring in English with a minor in History. I am deeply passionate about education and aspire to become an English teacher, driven by a genuine love for literature (my personal book collection is my pride and joy!) critical thinking, and helping students find their confidence in learning!
Throughout high school, I developed strong academic discipline and time management skills, achieving an ATAR of 97.80 with 1st internal ranks in English Advanced, English Extension 1, Modern History, PDHPE, and Geography, all while balancing a School Captain position and a social life. I am proof that it is possible to survive school without living on instant noodles... most of the time!
As a tutor, I aim to create lessons that are tailored to each student's individual needs. I focus on breaking down challenging concepts in a clear and supportive way so that students feel confident in actively applying their skills! Additionally, I am enthusiastic about working with students across a wide range of ages, including both secondary and primary levels, particularly in English!
