Hamna
Hi, I'm Hamna!
I’m a friendly and flexible tutor (with 170+ hours of tutoring) who takes the time to understand each student’s learning style, abilities, and goals. My aim is to support you in building confidence and consistency in your studies, while also encouraging healthy study habits and a balanced approach to learning.
Having completed Year 12 myself, I understand both the challenges and rewards that come with it. I’m here to help you stay motivated, organised, and on track- both academically and personally.
Subjects I tutor:
Psychology (50SS): SAC Rank 1, scored 9.5/10 on the 10-marker. Focus on exam technique, content clarity, and high-level responses. I create detailed PowerPoints with good explanations.
Chemistry: Chemistry can be a complex subject, but I aim to make it approachable and manageable. I use clear explanations, PowerPoints, and VCAA practice questions to help you understand key concepts and, most importantly, apply them with confidence- something many students find tricky at first.
Maths Methods: This was a subject I genuinely enjoyed in high school. With experience working through a wide range of past papers and exam-style questions, I focus on helping students become comfortable with both the content and the calculator. My approach is methodical, and I’m happy to support you with practical strategies and step by step guidance.
I’m currently studying Medicine at Monash University, and outside of my studies, I enjoy reading and spending quiet time to recharge.
If you’re looking for a tutor who’s supportive, patient, and genuinely invested in your progress, I’d be happy to work with you!
