Hello, Guys! 👋

Hi all! My name is Hamish and I’m starting out on my journey as a high school tutor, here to help you with your work and to teach you all the tips and tricks that helped me throughout high school to play their game the smart way, not just the hard way. I have a Montessori primary school education which involved learning in open classrooms across multiple year levels and helping my peers along the way. I was taught to use my independence to solve problems and to follow my interests and passions, but most importantly to love and seek out the process of learning and understanding the world around me. This is something I hope to pass along to all of my prospective students, as it allowed me to foster self-guided focus and discipline during ATAR. Studying at John Curtin College of the Arts in the Drama program for six years has taught me great communication skills and made me an easy public speaker; right now I’m studying full-time at WAAPA in the Bachelor of Performing Arts, and in my spare time love listening to and playing music, reading books, plays, and poetry, and training in martial arts.
