En-mei
Hi, I’m En-mei 👋
Back in Year 12 at Perth Modern, I poured my energy into Literature and Modern History, earning an ATAR of 98.75 (and yes, a sore writing hand too). That effort paid off: I’m now studying the Bachelor of Philosophy (Honours) at the Australian National University, a selective, research-intensive degree often described as a “mini-PhD.” My journey from Perth Modern to ANU means I know what it takes to perform at the highest level, and how to balance ambition with a healthy study routine.
I specialise in tutoring ATAR English, Literature, and Modern History, helping students refine their writing, sharpen their analysis, and step into assessments with confidence. Alongside senior students, I also support younger learners too - including selective school entry exam prep GATE/ASET), NAPLAN tutoring, and building strong foundations in English and Maths. My role is to meet students where they are, and tailor lessons to their individual needs.
I know firsthand how demanding senior studies can be, and I bring both deep content knowledge and practical strategies to help students excel. I’ve tested every study strategy out there; from endless practice papers to spaced repetition - and I’ll share the best approaches for each subject and assessment type. Beyond the academics, though, I believe learning should be engaging and fulfilling. My passion for the humanities drives me to make lessons lively, insightful, and personalised, so students walk away not just more prepared, but more confident.
Whether you’re a Year 12 pushing for your best ATAR, or a parent seeking support for your child, I’ll work with you to design a clear, structured, and achievable plan for success.
