Emily
Hey! My name is Emily, and I hope to create an engaging and collaborative learning environment to help you feel empowered in your learning!
I am currently studying a Bachelor of Biomedical Science/Doctor of Medicine at the University of Notre Dame Australia. I graduated from Roseville College on a full All Rounder Scholarship and achieved a 99.65 ATAR, earning recognition as an all-round achiever (Band 6 in 10 or more units). My passion for learning and thorough application of feedback enabled me to achieve a 99 in Mathematics Advanced, 96 in Mathematics Extension 1, 96 in Chemistry, 94 in Biology and a 3rd State Rank (99) in Food Technology.
Ultimately, I could not have achieved these grades without having a balance between studies, hobbies and other non-academic pursuits. Throughout high school, I kept heavily involved in extra-curricular activities including various sports, music, debating, volunteering and was also the Captain of my school. I have learned the importance of having a routine to enable a stress-free schooling experience, and will support my students with advice on how to stay organised amidst their studies.
These days, when I’m not studying, you will find me cooking up a storm in the kitchen! I also love to keep active by being involved in social netball and basketball teams.
As a tutor, I hope to create a well-rounded, personalised and supportive educational experience. I aim to collaborate with my students, by creating a safe learning environment where they feel confident to ask questions and seek feedback. I also hope to inspire a curiosity and life-long passion for learning which makes studying syllabus content much more engaging.
I am so excited to work alongside you to help you achieve your goals and make your schooling years the most rewarding to come!
