Hi there, I’m Eleanor and I will be your committed and passionate tutor, here to help you reach your academic potential.
I am undergoing my Bachelor of Science majoring in Computing and Software Systems at the University of Melbourne, and am super keen to get into studying. I was fortunately one of those students who loved school (crazy, I know), but I understand that’s not the case for many. So, I will help students actually enjoy learning (yep! You heard that right), and feel empowered by it too!
I was an IB student and graduated with a score of 41.75. I love the holistic learning style and this is something that I want to pass on to my students. It also means that I know the curriculum well, including those finicky requirements to get the high marks.
With my past experience as a teaching assistant, I’ve definitely learned a thing or two about teaching students all the way from K-12 and a range of different learning styles and needs.
I am a big believer that every student is different, so each lesson will be completely tailored to you and your needs! Whether you're a visual learner, hands-on, or something completely different- I’ve got you covered. I’ll break down tricky concepts into easily digestible parts so you can genuinely understand them.
As your tutor I will be adaptable, reflective, communicative, knowledgeable and humble of course.
My ultimate goal isn’t just to help you pass tests, but equip you with the skills you need to flourish. I will focus on developing problem-solving, time management, and critical thinking skills that will serve you throughout your educational journey.
When I am not tutoring you can find me in a thrift store, on the netball court, or drinking an overpriced iced latte.
