Eileen
Hi, I'm Eileen! I graduated from Sydney Girls High School and am currently pursuing a double degree in Civil Engineering (Honours) and Art at the University of Sydney. With over two years of experience as a private tutor, I have taught mathematics across various grade levels and taken on mentorship roles at USYD.
I achieved an E4 in Mathematics Extension 1 and 2 and consistently earn Distinctions and High Distinctions in university-level mathematics. But I wasn’t always confident in math—it was through the right support and resources that I improved and achieved the results I’m proud of today. This journey is what drives my passion for education, and I firmly believe that every student can excel with the right guidance and mindset.
My Teaching Style I focus on engagement, confidence-building, and a growth mindset. My lessons are interactive, where questions are encouraged, and mistakes are seen as learning opportunities. I ensure that every concept in the NSW syllabus is thoroughly covered, reinforcing foundational knowledge while helping students develop a genuine interest in problem-solving. More than just academics, my goal is to support students in achieving their personal and academic aspirations.
Beyond Tutoring I believe in a balanced life, which is why I love volunteering at primary schools, reading, visiting art galleries, and spending time with friends.
Thank you for taking the time to read my profile—I look forward to helping you reach your goals!
