Douglas
Hey there! I’m Doug, and I am currently studying Aerospace Engineering and Mathematical and Computer Sciences at the University of Adelaide. I graduated from Mercedes College as the Dux of the school with an ATAR of 98.45. Throughout high school, I studied Specialist Mathematics, Mathematical Methods, Physics, Chemistry and English, being the top achiever for Specialist Mathematics and Physics in the SACE at school. Year 12 can be a stressful experience; I know all too well the demanding expectations and pressure students feel when trying to achieve their goals. My goal is to ensure that through tutoring, I can create an environment where all students feel welcome and able to be open to asking questions without feeling any sense of judgement as we’re all learning and trying to achieve our best, which is all I’m here to do with you. Using my experience in year 12, I can teach you all the study tips and tricks I utilised to work efficiently and effectively, from managing your time. I love catching up with my friends inside and outside of university in my spare time. Otherwise, I enjoy walking, listening to music, gaming with friends, and trading cards or tabletop games. Doing computer science, programming, and being online with friends has taught me many skills with computers, so there should never be any issues with communication and technical faults. Hence, there should always be more time to focus on the more important things, helping you to achieve to the best of your ability.
