Hello, Guys! 👋
Hello,
My name is Dominique and thank you for taking the time to check out my profile! So, a little bit about myself, I am currently finishing off my Master of Teaching (Secondary) at the University of New South Wales. And gained my Conditional Accreditation teaching licence last year, allowing me to work as a casual relief teacher. This work has given me the opportunity to gain valuable teaching experience in developing teaching strategies and supports for a wide range of students, from gifted and talented, diverse leaners, and English as a second language students.
Before starting my teaching career, I competed Bachelor of Archaeology from Macquarie University. Not only did this allow me to explore and grow my love and fascination of history, but it also gave me the opportunity to grow and refine my writing, historical thinking and research skills.
Both my work as a casual teacher and my Bachelor of Archaeology have allowed me to become familiar a wide range of subjects and resulted in a deep love for education, the growth of curiosity and knowledge.
Beside that I am happy to tutor primary students in English and Science subjects. And secondary students in a majority of HISE subjects and extensions. I am also believer in strength-based student focussed approach when it comes to education and student learning.
My tutoring hours work around school hours, and I am open for a trial and to arrange a regular tutoring sessions on most weekdays from 4pm. I am also available for limited hours on Saturdays mornings.
If you are on the lookout for a passionate tutor who tackles education through the creation of an individualised plan to help students achieve their goals then, please get in contact with me.
Hope to hear from you! Dominique.
