📜My Academic Credentials: In 2023, I graduated high school in WA with a 99.60 ATAR and ANU admissions rank of 99.95. I have been DUX of my year twice and have consistently excelled in the English and Humanities streams, topping my classes many consecutive years in a row. I am a passionate public speaker, having participated in the State Debating Squad in 2022 and 2023 and Mock Trial competitions. I have won multiple Indonesian speaking competitions and love a fierce intellectual debate and philosophical discussion.
🎓What I’m Currently Studying:
I am currently studying a double degree in Law and International Relations at the Australian National University (ANU) living at Burgmann College, having recently received a Burgmann Academic Scholarship. I hope to pursue a career involving law, politics and diplomacy and have high ambitions of one day becoming a judge in the legal system. I am also studying a minor in Indonesian because I love expanding my language abilities and intercultural horizon.
🎒Your Individual High School Journey: I know that high school can have stressful periods and I want to help you to boost your academic potential without sacrificing time with friends and much needed sleep. Achieving your best is supposed to be challenging, but ultimately a satisfying and rewarding experience. To speak metaphorically, we all reap the work that we sow but refining the tools we use in our garden can improve our yield immensely. I have poured many hours into researching ways to maximise our learning efficiency and adopting feel-good productivity strategies. Whether this is spaced retrieval practice, encoding or many of the other learning buzz terms, I’ve nearly tried it all. I am eager to share my study apparatus with you and unlock your hidden learning machine 🤖.
📝What I Tutor: I received the top English and Humanities Student Prize in Year 12 for Wesley College and have consistently topped my cohort in these subject areas. I have been awarded academic prizes in Literature, Philosophy and Politics and Law as well as Humanities and English subjects before ATAR years. Naturally, these are my strengths, so any subjects of these descriptions I would feel highly confident tutoring. 🙂Personal Interests: In my spare time, I run multiple times a week including outside of the cross-country season and complete sessions in the gym because I am a big believer in having a healthy mind and body. I also like chess, reading and watching movies and tv shows.
