Arjun
Hi, my name is Arjun! I recently graduated from the Queensland Academy for Science, Mathematics, and Technology (QASMT), where I undertook the infamous IB Diploma Programme. Despite many people feeling overwhelmed by the IB, I found it manageable (and even enjoyable) because I picked up little tricks along the way to maximise my learning and work with high efficiency. On top of shaping me into a balanced and versatile individual, the IB also taught me that the best way to learn isn’t just about memorising notes for a test, but actually understanding what’s going on. That’s the approach I bring into tutoring too: I want to help you really get it and experience those “lightbulb moments” so you feel confident using your knowledge, not just repeating it and hoping it shows up on the exam.
Outside of school, I kept up with plenty of extracurriculars like swimming, representative cricket, and even baking (yes, I call that my IB risk-taking!). I managed to balance these by focusing only on the content that truly mattered, and cutting out the unnecessary “waffle.” With me, you can be confident that lessons will focus on exactly what you need to know, without the clutter.
As a tutor, I’ve worked with students across different levels — from IB Chemistry HL (new syllabus) to QCE Year 8 science and maths. I always aim to make lessons friendly, relaxed, and enjoyable by tailoring my teaching style to each student. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable asking questions, working through challenges, and even having fun along the way.
I’m available for both online and in-person tutoring, just let me know what works best for you.
See you soon!
