Anusha
Hi! I’m Anusha and I’m currently studying a Bachelor of Advanced Finance and Economics at UQ. As someone who spent a long time unsure of what to pursue after high school, I chose a mix of humanities (Economics, Philosophy) and STEM (Physics, Chemistry) electives. This broad range pushed me to experiment with different study methods, which I eventually mastered by Year 12, earning the QCE Distinguished Achiever Award for my results. If you’re still figuring out which study strategies work best for you, I’d love to help you approach both writing and problem-solving with confidence.
During senior school, I volunteered in a tutoring program where I helped junior students work through their homework and assignments. As I was able to work with learners with different academic goals, I learnt to keep younger or less confident students motivated. That experience gave me the skills to build strong rapport and help students develop confidence in their academic abilities. As a tutor, my goal is to guide students through their thinking process, help them recognise the value in their ideas, and ultimately express them clearly on the page.
Drawing on my experience with QCAA marking guides, I’m eager to provide detailed feedback on assignments ranging from essays to experiment reports. I run 60–90 minute sessions tailored to your needs, whether that’s unpacking confusing content, working through tough questions, or improving your assignments. Wherever you’re at, I’m here to help.
