Anna
Hey hey!! My name is Yana, or you can call me Anna. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Science at the University of Melbourne, most of the subjects I do are maths and computing. As someone who has experienced first-hand the ups and downs of the challenges thrown at you in high school, I understand exactly how daunting this feels, and I am here to hopefully ease that stress a little bit and to help you achieve your full potential!
In high school I did all three VCE maths subjects (I know it sounds like a lot) so I know how to prepare students in earlier year levels for the different pathways. If you are in year 11 or 12, I’m here for you too! I achieved A,A+ in my SACs and exams consistently in all my maths subjects, while balancing part time work and co-curricular activities.
I’ll admit, I was a bit of a “try hard” in late high school years, but I also believe in working smarter not harder. As much as we would like to have all our hours of work be returned in tremendous improvements in grades, unfortunately, that’s not always the case without suitable technique and assistance, and that’s where I come in!
I have tutored informally throughout high school with peers, and after graduation formally I have been doing online tutoring for a while too! I have experience with a range of students of different age groups and academic goals. I absolutely love seeing my students improve and build confidence in their own abilities.
Outside of studying and tutoring, I enjoy music, reading, gaming, hanging out with my friends and doing new things!
So…that’s enough about me. Tutoring is about YOU!
Looking forward to meeting you and all the best for your future studies!!
