Hi there! My name is Amna and I'm a medical student at Monash University. 💫
I graduated VCE in 2024 with an ATAR of 99.70 and have a passion for tutoring! I've been tutoring for 2+ years now across multiple subjects including english, biology, general maths, year 10 maths, and (my favourite) maths methods.
In these 2 years, I've learned how to apply my high school experience to help students succeed in their academic life, aceing SACs, exams, and overall feeling more confident and capable with their subject. 💥
I've noticed that with maths, it's often gaps in foundation knowledge that make anything new harder to grasp and retain, so I like the focus on where the student is at to begin with and work our way up from there.
The method is simple: we start with content, broken down into easy to understand core concepts. Then, we move on to application and exam questions to consolidate the content.
The focus of my tutoring is YOU, the student. 🙌 Whatever you want, whether it's to revise content from school you're unsure with, or move at an accelerated pace, that's what we'll do.
Outside of uni, I also enjoy reading, writing book reviews, and watching movies. 📚
