Hi! I'm Alisha Chanda, one of the tutors here at KIS Academics. I got through Year 12 by the skin of my teeth, and my experiences now guide me in my work, to make sure my students don't have to do the same.
I graduated Year 12 in 2023 South Australia with an ATAR of 99.55, including A+ (top 5% of state) in Mathematical Methods and Chemistry, and a Merit (top 2% of state, highest achievement) in Biology. Each of these subjects were ones I loved and enjoyed, and am so happy to be able to share my knowledge on.
In Year 12, I had my ups and downs, but above all, my goal was to put my best foot forward, to get the best results. I want to be able to instill this mindset in my students, to ensure that they can get the results they want, for the dreams they have.
Now I'm at Adelaide University, studying the Bachelor of Dental Surgery, and I love what I learn. Outside of my life as a tutor and dental student, I enjoy hanging out with friends, reading, and going on long walks.
If you're looking for a fun but serious tutor, who knows the full ins and outs of each subject and the school curriculum, then do check out my tutor profile. I'll see you in lesson :)
