Ali
Hi, I’m Ali. I am currently studying Mathematical Sciences (Advanced) concurrently with Computational Physics in University of Adelaide. I am really passionate about Maths and Physics. Besides those, I enjoy listening to good music, watching movies, walking in the nature and reading books. I was named DUX of my high school with the highest ATAR. I received a merit in Mathematical Methods, Physics and Chemistry, and received an A+ in Specialist Mathematics. In year 11, I received a High Distinction for the Australian Mathematics Competition. I know that studying can be quite stressful sometimes. My experience throughout my years of studying in high school has thought me that quality of study is much more important than the number of hours dedicated to study. I`ve found specifically in Maths and Physics that making deep conceptual understanding and building foundations is much more effective than just spending long hours studying without direction. Of course, practice is very important, but I believe that it is much more effective when done in a thoughtful way. I know that Maths and Physics can be very challenging and feel overwhelming at times. However, I think if approached with the right mindset and strategies, they could become much easier, and even rewarding! Some of these strategies might be learning important foundational topics, looking at the bigger picture and breaking down the problem at hand into smaller, less intimidating steps. Whether you're aiming to improve your grades or just want to better understand the material, I’d love to help you on your journey.
