Ailani
For me, education means so much more than a check box event that everyone goes through to eventually graduate, get a job, and live out the rest of their lives. To me, education is curiosity and a love for learning. This means that school is the foundation in which we learn how to learn and how to love it. Hey everyone. My name is Ailani, and I am a current Bachelor of Medical Studies, Doctor of Medicine student at the University of Adelaide after starting my journey with 1 year of the Bachelor of Health and Medical Science. Coming into my 5th year of tutoring in 2025 there are many things that I have learnt in my somewhat convoluted journey to where I am now. These years of being a scholar and working behind the scenes of tertiary academia have shaped how I teach my students and ultimately, the unique educational experiences they receive from our sessions. I pride myself in being a tutor who is empathetic and understanding to any student's feelings, goals, and experiences. It is this empathy that makes me a highly adaptable tutor who is able to tailor my teaching to a student’s needs no matter how different these are. I wholeheartedly attribute this ability to my experience in having taught such a breadth of students in the past: from rural students to struggling students with learning disabilities such as dyslexia and autism and of course those who are already high achievers. I hope that I am able to help your student achieve through the many resources that I am able to provide and the foundational learning skills that I am able to impart. Please reach out with any questions or inquiries. I look forward to working together to achieve your goals.
Please note that I will not be continuing tutoring in 2026 due to the rigouous and unpredictable schedule that full time placement brings.
