Adeline
Hi, I'm Adeline!
I am currently in my second year of university, studying Law/PPE (Philosophy, Politics and Economics) at the Australian National University. I'm passionate about helping students genuinely enjoy learning, and here's how I'll do that:
✔ Work with you to set achievable goals- having a clear goal gives purpose to learning.
✔ Break down concepts into small, manageable parts- it's all about the little wins!
✔ Help you understand exactly what examiners are looking for.
✔ Develop your study techniques so that you can achieve the best results possible, and still have a life outside of school.
✔ Infect you with my love of learning- it's hard to stay passionate if your tutor doesn't care about the subject.
Why me?
There are plenty of amazing tutors out there. What sets me apart is that, until Year 11, I wasn't great at English, and that meant I struggled with all subjects involving written expression. It was SO frustrating. Because I wasn't performing well, I became demotivated and, honestly, absolutely hated English. Everything changed when my brilliant Year 12 English teacher infected me with his love of the subject, and taught me how to express myself- how to put the thoughts in my head into an essay on paper, and most importantly, how to craft an argument. This experience helps me understand what it's like to be a student who absolutely hates a subject, but more importantly, how to break that cycle.

Outside of university and tutoring you might find me in the kitchen baking up a storm, hanging out with my friends, or cuddling with my two cats (who sometimes like to make appearances in the background of online tutoring sessions)!
