The NTCET is your ticket to future study or work in the Northern Territory. While it’s based on the South Australian SACE system, it’s got its own local flavor. By 2026, every student in the NT is tackling the new Exploring Identities and Futures (EIF), which replaced the old PLP. Choosing your subjects is a bit of a balancing act. You need 20 credits of NTCET English and 10 credits of Maths to meet the literacy and numeracy requirements.
