Hello there!! I'm Manoj and I sold my soul to the devil in order to survive year 12. My mission is to make sure you don't have to do the same. I graduated high school as the School captain and a Dux of my with a 99.95 ATAR and a study score of 50 in chemistry. I really enjoyed the subject, but hated studying. Throughout year 12, I made it my goal to study as efficiently as possible, cutting all the unnecessary information from my learning, and focusing on only the important stuff so I wouldn't have to give up things I love like sport and having a social life. Once I graduated, I taught these methods to my students, and after a few years of being a "generalised" tutor who taught multiple subjects, I decided to really focus on the subject that I loved teaching and the subject that students love learning from me: Chemistry.
What I offer:
✅ Regular lessons fitted to your schedule (frequency and duration can be adjusted to suit your needs)
✅ Personalised lessons (you decide the pace of lessons, and what you want to work on)
✅ Annotated notes and step-by-step workings
✅ Last minute lessons before big exams
✅ Extra practice questions for students (I can mark it and provide feedback as needed)
✅ General study techniques and study planning guidance

Found Manoj to be a great tutor overall, made me feel like he's just a mate who's helping me out with my questions. Along with his comrade, Manoj’s genius not only allowed me to thrive, but his ability to explain and help me understand key concepts was truly imperative in my success in chemistry 3/4.
In all the different tutoring services I have gone to, KIS Academics has been one of the very best. Manoj’s method of tutoring is so flexible and adaptable that he can explain any topic you want perfectly, even if he has not had time to prepare the contents for the lesson. His ability to truly enable you to understand the topic of Chemistry in a simple, clear and direct teaching style makes him one of the best tutors I have ever had the pleasure ...
Manoj is an absolutely amazing chemistry teacher. I don't think I would've been doing even half as well as I am currently without him. Whether it be his patient and passionate teaching, the endless bank of VCAA questions he gives almost every class, or his step-by-step video guides of the whole 3/4 course, he always has ways of getting you through chem in and even out of the classroom. I also highly recommend this tutor as he's really flexible re...
Manoj has helped me so much with year 12 chemistry. He is really accommodating to my specific needs and is also very friendly. I only wish I’d started lessons with him earlier.
Manoj Arachige is a great tutor with so much patience and determination to help us students reach our goals. Whether it be the explanation of the content or the tips and tricks to aid me in achieving an attainable score, Manoj definitely comes through with amazing guidance and direction.
After using KIS Academics for the past 2 years, I cannot recommend these guys enough. Manoj and Jack have truly made my VCE experience more like a stroll in the park, providing me with quality teaching and an abundance of questions to consolidate my knowledge. Not only are they amazing tutors who are very approachable, they also make great friends :)
