Harry
Hi! I'm Harry Lee, a 2024 survivor of IB at QASMT. I'm offering both one on one and group tutoring for high school students across Australia, covering Biology, Chemistry, Maths up to Methods and English literature up to year 10. I graduated with an IB 42, with 7 in AASL, Biology and Chemistry HL, and my highest scoring being Japanese Ab Initio. For the non-IB students, this means I can help you with Japanese, Maths methods, biology and chemistry, as the IB is very comprehensive and well rounded, with many of the skills taught in it also seen in ATAR curriculums.
I am a strong believer in not just studying, but rather learning how to study. I can provide feedback not just designed to help you get the marks you need, but also translate to long term skills like time management, organisation, and most importantly knowing what works for you. For example, I can break down complex questions in maths or chemistry into simple steps that both guide you easily to the answer and show your knowledge, and in biology I can simplify difficult concepts or hard-to-remember content with tricks that you can use in your exams too.
Outside of exam tricks and understanding content, I am very skilled with IA feedback, where I can provide the comprehensive advice in not just what to write but how to write in your bio, chem, maths or psych IAs. I finished with 7s in all my IAs during my time at QASMT, and I am sure I can help you do the same with detailed draft marking, not just checking the contents but also the flow and communication in your work.
