Daniel
Hey and welcome to my page!! My name is Daniel, though my friends call me Sensei, let me tell you a bit about myself.
I graduated from high school with a 99.55 ATAR whilst juggling the roles of being a prefect, a bandleader for 3 school orchestras and a tutor. Learning can be hard, trust me I get it, but there are ways of approaching school and homework to make life a lot easier. That's what I'm here for!
Having a busy schedule throughout high school taught me how to be efficient and diligent, developing a strong mindset that redefined my ability to learn and perform. By doing so I was capable of maintaining the things I care about in my life, such as music and a social life. I believe every student is capable of achieving academic excellence without sacrificing the things that they enjoy, and in doing so can become well-rounded and confident learners.
I am currently studying a Bachelor of Politics, Philosophy and Economics doubled with a Bachelor of Engineering (Research & Development) (Honours) at The Australian National University where I split my time between seeing friends, mixing around on my DJ decks, or cooking up in the kitchen.
To finish, here's a small list of my proudest achievements:
- HSC All-Rounder Achiever Award
- National University Scholarship
- MQ Business School Academic Excellence Scholarship
- Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award
- UCAT 97th percentile
- AMEB: Certificate of Performance in Violin + Grade 8 Alto Saxophone
