Hey legends! I'm Verdi, the NSW Consultant of KIS Academics and a bubbly and passionate student, studying the Bachelor of Veterinary Biology and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Sydney. I graduated with an ATAR of 99.35 and two state ranks, 3rd in NSW in Studies of Religion II and 4th in Business Studies. Whilst tutoring, I actively conduct seminars at schools around NSW to help students achieve their HSC goals, as well as undergoing weekly masterclasses at Sydney schools for Business and SOR.
As a student myself who didn't always pick things up quickly and required much more time, effort and assistance, I understand that every student has the potential to excel but may need guidance to succeed and achieve their goals. My goal is to assist my students in succeeding academically and to impart valuable life lessons that will stay with them well into the future.
Additionally, having undergone many challenges during my own year 12 journey, I was able to identify the most effective study and exam skills. Hence, I would like to share my knowledge, tips and tricks in order to help you fulfil your potential and achieve what you desire as anything is possible if you put your mind to it.
Persistence, resilience and hard work will help us achieve this journey together :)
Verdi Maximous has been an exceptional tutor and has helped me progress substantially in my year 12 legal studies. She is extremely smart and friendly and i highly recommend her if you're looking for a combination of the both!
Verdi was so lovely and helped me pass my business exam! She gave me some really good tips and assisted me in understanding the concepts I struggled with. Highly recommend
KIS Academy is the best place to get a tutor - as a Year 12 student in Sydney, I’ve been seeing a very good tutor, Verdi Maximous for Studies of Religion, and I feel I have benefitted greatly from her teaching, getting top of the class on my assessment tasks.
I was so so lucky to have Verdi Maximus tutor me throughout the final half of my Yr12 HSC Business Studies course! She is the sweetest tutor on the planet, she provided me with so many resources and helped me break down and understand all of the nuances of business reports and extended responses. All of our lessons were tailored to me and what I needed most to improve. Verdi was super flexible with time zones and schedules and made me a priority ...
I met Verdi online while I was looking for a stage 6 religion tutor for my daughter, who was missing on vital sessions at school due to undertaking an external course. Verdi is everything that we were looking for and more. We are very thankful and grateful in finding an extraordinary teacher and mentor for our daughter.
I have been using KIS academic for 16 weeks and so far it has been great!! My Tutor Verdi Maximus is so sweet and helpful. She always is very kind when I ask questions and is always available when I need to change sessions. 😊
