Sam
UCAT is an absolute rollercoaster and having to know exactly what to work on only makes it more bumpy. I’m Sam, a med student at the University of Newcastle who has also struggled through the difficulties of burnout, motivation, focus, procrastination (I could keep going). I’ve been working with Fraser's, tutoring students through all UCAT sections with a focus on Decision Making (DM), Quantitative Reasoning (QR), and Abstract Reasoning (AR) sections for a while, having a perspective on how questions are written and where tricks are placed simply makes the path easier. I place a real emphasis on understanding exactly where your gaps in knowledge are, whether it’s solving quick maths or breaking down weird patterns. I also have a little inside scoop on some of the actions you can take in High School (it's not too late!) to help you show off what makes you unique. When I’m not buried in med school textbooks or tutoring, I’m volunteering as a soup kitchen coordinator (started for the med application and still love it) or playing volleyball. So, if you’re looking for a tutor who gets what it’s like to be in your shoes (and who’ll make prep a little less painful), I’m your guy.
