Hello there! I'm Nikola, happy to see you've found my profile :) The reason I'd be a great tutor for you is because I've done more than 8 years of University studies (and counting), during which I've learned how to succeed academically. I can help you find study strategies that work, help you approach studying for topics you may not feel totally comfortable with yet, and show you how to reach your goals and build your academic confidence! My mission is to make sure you benefit from all of my experience and capitalize on your opportunities. A bit about myself, I graduated high school with distinction while captaining the basketball team to the state final. I then went on to university where I entered Pharmacy after 3 years of undergraduate study, graduating with a Doctorate in Pharmacy (PharmD), with the distinction of being on the Dean's Honour Roll, 4 years later. After graduating I worked as a pharmacist in a large tertiary healthcare center until I realised I had a passion for medicine and applied to medical school. After scoring in the 89th percentile of the MCAT and receiving 3 medical school offers, I'm now studying the Doctor of Medicine course at Deakin university where I also help tutor peers in lower years on anatomy and pathology, while working on a peer-reviewed paper on lung transplantation outside of studies. Through all of my studies I've had a chance to experiment with many different study techniques to find which work best for me. I use this knowledge to help out other students in my role as a tutor, and I love helping others succeed. I can assure you that I will provide guidance on optimal study techniques that will help you smash your academic goals. I'll also provide supplemental notes, and break-down complex concepts into more digestible content. I'm even free for you to shoot a message to if you have a specific question you need help with. I'm knowledgeable about the subjects which I tutor so you can expect to receive all of the support you need to do well on your upcoming exams while building strong study habits that leave you with more time to do the things you enjoy doing - for me that's playing basketball, surfing, and spending time with loved ones.
