Hi there! My name is Matthew and my hope is that I can make your school experience as survivable as possible.
In my personal experience, I received an ATAR of 99.5, and a 100% in Physics and English for QCE. These results didn't come without hard work but I also take pride in my understanding of study skills and techniques that I am eager to share.
My passion for tutoring stems from something as simple as helping my friends with their work in class. In my opinion, nothing beats the feeling of seeing that moment of understanding click for someone and knowing that you helped them achieve that. This feeling drove me to founding and running my own tutoring program during my final year of school. This program led me to getting a job here at KIS Academics.
The subjects I specialise in for tutoring are English 11-12, Maths Methods 11-12, Specialist Maths 11-12, Physics 11-12, Engineering 11-12, Maths 5-10 and English 5-10. I am especially passionate about mathematics but I am established with all of these subjects and am super excited for the opportunity to help students develop their skills surrounding these topics.
Personally I am pretty passionate about getting involved in social outings with friends and participating in sports so I understand the need for a balance between school work and other aspects of life. With this in mind I hope you would consider me as a tutor who can work with you and be a part of your journey through school.
