Hello, Guys! 👋
Hi! My name is Letisia and I’m currently studying a Bachelor of Philosophy (Honours) at UWA. I graduated as DUX of Carine Senior High School with an ATAR of 99.80 in 2025. I was fortunate to receive the ECU STEM Award for Mathematics, the SCSA Subject Exhibition for French: Second Language ATAR (2025), as well as a Certificate of Distinction. While I’m proud of these achievements, what mattered most to me was learning how to study in a way that was consistent, effective, and actually enjoyable.
As a tutor, I focus on simplifying complex ideas and tailoring my teaching style to each student. I aim to create a supportive and relaxed environment where questions are always encouraged, and mistakes are seen as an important part of learning. My goal is to help students not only improve their marks, but also build confidence and independence in their studies.
During high school, I spent three years as a volunteer Academic Mentor, and since 2024 I’ve also been working in classroom settings with younger students. This has given me plenty of experience explaining tricky ideas in different ways and finding ways to keep learning engaging. These experiences have helped me develop patience and flexibility, so I can adapt my teaching style to suit what works best for you.
Outside of study, I love playing the piano and spending time with friends, which helps me maintain a healthy balance. I understand how overwhelming school can feel at times, so I’m here to support you in a way that works best for you.
I’m excited to help you reach your potential, so please don’t hesitate to get in touch!
