Leanna
Hello! My name is Leanna and I graduated from the Queensland Academy for Science Mathematics & Technology. I completed the rigorous international baccalaureate (IB) diploma programme, where I achieved an IB score of 43/45 (98.90 ATAR).
I have currently accepted an offer to study the Bachelor of Biomedical Science (Scholars Program) at Monash University. I also received the Sir John Monash Scholarship for Biomedicine Discovery & Achievement.
Although I enjoyed the learning experience, highschool was quite challenging at times. Between juggling back to back exams and assignments to squeezing in extracurriculars, my to-do list often felt never ending. Along the way, I’ve developed my own study tips and tricks to make your studying more enjoyable and efficient.
I am passionate about teaching maths, chemistry, biology, and english. I’ve excelled in these subjects and I would love to use my expertise to support your learning journey. Whether you are a highschool student or a primary school student, I tailor my lessons to suit your needs so that you can achieve your best. I strive to draw the connections between the content, and to ultimately help you reach that light-bulb moment where everything just clicks.
Just a few fun facts about me: I’ve been mentoring and tutoring junior year students at my school for the past four years. I enjoy getting to know all my students and gradually seeing them thrive! I also love all sorts of crafts, in particular crocheting and scrapbooking. When I’m not crafting, I’m probably sipping on a matcha latte, listening to music, or playing piano.
Anyways, please get in touch with me if you would love to boost your results and grow more confident in your studies!
