Hello! My name is Joel, and I'm a passionate maths student at the ANU. I achieved a 99+ ATAR, and despite what some people might tell you, you don't need to give up your personal life and hobbies to achieve such results in final exams. As an Olympiad student in high school, I learnt that success wasn't about how hard you worked - it was about how well you understood the content. Watching and learning from the best students in the country showed me that even highly advanced concepts were built on the foundations of simple and elegant ideas. As a tutor, I think that anybody, at any skill level, can benefit from this approach to learning.
