Hey! I'm James, I graduated from Normo in 2023 and I'm currently studying a Bachelor of Medical Science / Doctor of Medicine at UNSW. In my spare time I enjoy getting out there in nature so you might see me on some bush walks on the weekends!
As an underdog for most of my schooling life, I can relate with the struggles of putting in so much effort into your studies only to be let down when exam results come out. But what allowed me to transform my results from the many fails in junior years to becoming an All Rounder in my HSC and a 98 in Maths Advanced was a focus on the CONCEPTUAL understanding of different topics, which underpins my tutoring style.
Our lessons can be flexible based on what you need, whether it be going ahead of class, revising past material or even preparing for upcoming exams. As a tutor I also hope to provide you with the skills and tips not only to succeed in highschool (like balancing extracurriculars and academics) but also in life after grad.
I believe that each student has potential, and whether it has already been harnessed or if it is still hidden, I hope to be that person to assist YOU in channelling that potential into unbelievable results.
