Hi there! I'm Himaya - a 5th year medical student at JCU, graduated from Nossal High School with a 99.15 ATAR and study scores of 50 for Biology and 48 for HHD.
A little bit about me: I'm currently studying interstate in Cairns and I love going on hikes with my dog to explore the great outdoors, going for sunrise runs along the beach (aiming to complete a half marathon this year 🤞) playing the piano or violin (depending on my mood) or just chilling next to the fireplace having a good laugh with my family! I love meeting and getting to work with new people and new perspectives and I hope to work for the Royal Flying Doctor Service one day, working in the outback Aus 🦘
Why me? I have 4 years of tutoring experience, working with students with different abilities and can confidently tutor according to the students’ specific study needs, focusing on strengthening areas of weakness and developing exam and literacy skills (i.e formulating high-scoring responses) in order to help the students tackle these subjects with ease and achieve their goals.
