Hi I'm Dev. I'm currently studying a Bachelor of Advanced Science at ANU. I really found high school, especially years 11 and 12 to be a massive drag but I want to make sure that it's much smoother for other people even as they try to extend themselves.
I enjoy working as a tutor as I find it rewarding to help students reach their full academic potential. As a tutor I like to adapt to the student's needs and learning style to help them excel to the best of their ability. I work with students to make the most out of tutoring, whether it's help with filling in missing knowledge, keeping up with work or extending beyond the curriculum. I emphasise trying to build critical thinking skills.
I've worked as a both a generalised tutor and a subject specific tutor. As a generalised tutor I've helped students with gaps in their knowledge and helping them with extension activities too. As a subject specific tutor, I have the most experience with maths, but I've also done it for physics and chemistry, and I'm able to tutor economics as well.
Outside of studying, I really enjoy board games, cycling and going for scenic hikes and walks.
