This is how I scored a top score in SACE English

I’m acutely aware that English is a tough subject. There’s no textbook or formulas to follow, and at times it feels like there is an endless amount of reading like a bottomless pit swallowing you whole, but do not fret… this course is designed to help you excel and achieve your potential. This course precisely breaks down the SACE performance standards, elucidating what exactly is expected of you in Stage 2 English. When you have internalised the framework of all the touchstones and paradigms on which you are assessed, I have absolutely no doubts you will crush your assessments with no issues.

This high performance program will also break down the externally assessed assignments in English, such as the comparative and the exam, providing tangible and tried-and-true advice on how to excel at these assessments. A comprehensive analysis of all assessable text types in English is performed, which will leave students with the confidence to succeed in all areas of General English and English Literary Studies in Year 12 SACE.

Languages shape the way we think, and dictate what we can think about. I truly believe developing the ability to read critically, think deeply, and articulate your arguments cogently is perhaps the most important thing one can do in high school, as it is a skill you will carry with you for the rest of your lives.

The subject itself may seem wearisome and unnecessarily recondite. But you just need the correct strategies, resources and mentorship to guide you to the finish line. I can give you all of this.

Let's get started.

Hi, I'm Anna!

I'm currently a Law and International Relations student at The Australian National University in Canberra - however I am originally from Adelaide, so I studied the SACE for Year 12. I am passionate about humanities and English, achieving SACE Merits in English Literary Studies, Modern History, Legal Studies and General Mathematics when I was in year 12.

I love reading and analysing texts in English, and I am hoping I can share this passion with you - I promise doing assignments doesn't always have to be a slog, anything can be manageable if it is broken up the right way! Outside of schoolwork, I love to learn languages - I'm currently learning French!

I hope I can share all my tips and tricks for studying the SACE, helping you to reach your full potential, hoping you walk away motivated, and ready to smash your studies!

Looking forward to meeting you!
