Rebecca
Hi there!
My name is Rebecca and I'm currently studying the Joint Medical Program Bachelor of Medical Science/Doctor of Medicine at Newcastle University after completing the International Baccalaureate in high school.
In my free time I love hiking, reading, playing sport, going to the beach, and spending time with friends. Anyone who knows me knows that my motto is work-life balance, and my two main rules in life are:
- No study on the weekend (unless its the week before exams đȘ )
- Bed by 9pm đŽ
So as you can see, although my studies through high school and university have been demanding, it's really important to me to prioritise the other aspects of my life equally. And YOU can too! đ«”
I have experience in a range of teaching contexts from coaching gymnastics through to leading PASS (Peer Assisted Study Sessions) for biomedical science courses at Uni, which has given me the skills to help you succeed.
I also believe that understanding the concepts is only one piece of the puzzle, and it is equally important to build up confidence in yourself and your ability to succeed. This is something that I try to foster in my students, so if you're finding things a bit tricky and need a morale boost from someone who's been there before, look no further!
