Joseph
Hi! My name is Joseph and I’m currently studying a Bachelor of Science with a major in applied mathematics at the University of Melbourne. I completed the International Baccalaureate program at Wesley College with a perfect score of 45 (IBAS score of 45.75) and a notional ATAR of 99.95. During year 12, I completed two first-year physics courses at the University of Melbourne as part of an extension program, achieving first class honours in both courses. In year 10, I also completed VCE Mathematical Methods with a raw score of 47. Year 12 is stressful and challenging, but it can definitely be manageable with the right support. As a tutor, I aim to apply my diverse experience and knowledge to not only support your learning, but also enrich your understanding. Having completed mathematics and physics courses in both the IB and VCE, as well as having participated in various mathematics and physics competitions, I bring a wide range of experience to teach at a variety of levels. I am here to help improve your grades, break down complicated concepts, as well as find effective exam and study techniques that work for you. I aim to support your learning in an engaging and interesting way, encouraging discussion and fostering a deeper understanding to help you achieve your academic goals. Outside of academics and tutoring, I also enjoy reading books, as well as playing games, chess and guitar.
