Alex
Hi there, my name is Alex Spong and year 12 was arguably the hardest year of my life. My goal is to allow the pressures of high school to be minimised for you guys as you strive for success.
I graduated from Saint Ignatius College with an ATAR of 98.30 having achieved the highest bands in 4 of my 5 subjects getting an E4 in both Maths Ext 2 (92) and in Maths Ext 1 (93) as well as obtaining a 94 in Maths Advanced as a Year 11 student. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Applied Data Analytics at the Australian National University where I balance my academic studies with the extensive social activities that occur at college along with ensuring I participate in sufficient physical activity whether it be in the gym or playing basketball.
Throughout my time in high school, I for the most part was consistent academically and maintained a balanced life but in Year 12, the pressure of the HSC overwhelmed all other aspects of my life. Now having completed the HSC, I aim to help others who are currently facing the challenges I faced or will come across them within the near future not just with learning content and developing skills but also with how to manage the stress of high-school and preserve a balanced lifestyle.
