This year also saw some outstanding student performances, with Perth Modern College achieving its best result in decades despite enduring COVID lockdowns for a large portion of their early schooling.

From almost 10,000 Western Australian students who sat for an ATAR in 2022, 17 students achieved a perfect score of 99.95. Out of these 17 students were 12 girls and five boys. Below is a tally of which schools these students came from:
