This year, approximately 9,992 school leavers obtained an Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR), highlighting an encouraging participation trend. Notably, 18 students achieved the prestigious perfect ATAR score of 99.95, marking a remarkable feat of academic dedication and talent.

Among the standout achievements, Ethan Yap from Perth Modern School was awarded the highly coveted Beazley Medal for academic excellence, cementing the school’s position as a leader in academic success.

In 2023, 9,992 school leavers achieved an ATAR, with 18 students achieving a perfect score of 99.95. Notably, all these students were boys.

  • 7 students achieved the top ATAR of 99.95.

Christ Church Grammar School

  • 3 students achieved the top ATAR of 99.95.
  • 23 students obtained an ATAR of 99 and above, placing them in the top 1% of the state.
  • 39 students obtained an ATAR of 98 and above.
  • 42 students obtained an ATAR of 95 and above, placing them in the top 5% of the state.
  • 62 students obtained an ATAR of 90 and above, placing them in the top 10% of the state.
  • Mean ATAR: 93.275, with 84% of students on an ATAR pathway.

Rossmoyne Senior High School

  • 1 student achieved the top ATAR of 99.95.
  • 36 students obtained an ATAR of 99 and above, placing them in the top 1% of the state.

Hale School

  • 2 students achieved the top ATAR of 99.95.
  • 14 students obtained an ATAR of 99 and above.
  • 53 students obtained an ATAR of 95 and above, placing them in the top 5% of the state.
  • 95 students obtained an ATAR of 90 and above, placing them in the top 10% of the state.
  • Mean ATAR: 90.35.

Methodist Ladies’ College

  • Highest ATAR: 99.6.
  • 14 students obtained an ATAR of 98 and above.
  • 34 students achieved an ATAR of 95 or above.
  • 50 students achieved an ATAR of 90 or above.
  • 85 students obtained an ATAR of 75 or above, placing them in the top 15% of the state.

All Saints' College

  • 2 students achieved the top ATAR of 99.95.
  • 10 students obtained an ATAR of 99 and above.
  • 18 students obtained an ATAR of 98 and above.
  • 31 students obtained an ATAR of 95 and above, placing them in the top 5% of the state.
  • 52 students obtained an ATAR of 90 and above, placing them in the top 10% of the state.

Shenton College

  • 2 students achieved the top ATAR of 99.95.

Presbyterian Ladies' College

  • 2 students achieved the highest score of 99.90.
  • 7% of students obtained an ATAR of 99 and above, placing them in the top 1% of the state.
  • 25% of students obtained an ATAR of 95 and above.
  • Combined ATAR and IB results:
    • 45% of students achieved an equivalent ATAR of 90 or above.
    • 82% of students achieved an equivalent ATAR of 80 or above.

Willetton Senior High School

  • 12 students obtained an ATAR of 99 and above, placing them in the top 1% of the state.
  • Mean ATAR of 90.55 

St Mary’s Anglican Girls School

  • 3% of students obtained an ATAR of 99 and above.
  • 13% of students obtained an ATAR of 98 and above.
  • 32% of students obtained an ATAR of 95 and above, placing them in the top 5% of the state.
  • 56% of students obtained an ATAR of 90 and above.
