VCE ATAR Results 2024: Victoria's Top Performing Schools

This year, over 47,000 students have received an ATAR with an average rank of 69.52 for the Class of 2024. This is a slight increase from 69.41 in 2023, accompanied by many impressive results and perfect scores from 2024 VCE students. Here is a summary of the results achieved by some of Victoria's best-performing schools.

  • The median ATAR score of the state is recorded to be 76.55.
  • 7.1% of Victorian students achieved an ATAR of 90 or above.

This year, 33 male and eight female students (41 total) received an ATAR of 99.95, the highest possible rank attainable in VCE.

  • 34.7% of Ballarat Clarendon College’s study scores were above 40.

Huntingtower School (2nd in the state)

  • 11% of students accomplished an ATAR of 99 or above, placing them in the top 1% of the state.
  • 40% of students accomplished an ATAR of 95 or above, placing them in the top 5% of the state.
  • 11 perfect Study Scores of 50 were accomplished.
  • The median study score was 37.
