Hi there! I’m Ina, a graduate of Sydney Girls High School.
Year 12 in the time of COVID was definitely tough, and keeping focused on study during quarantine and online classes was pretty much impossible. So, if there’s one thing I learnt from sitting home alone trying to study during my final year of school, it was how to study smart not hard.
I graduated with a 99.6 ATAR, as an all-rounder (band 6 in all of my units) with a 3rd in NSW state rank for French Extension. I have a good idea of how to succeed in your subjects in any grade(especially with the daunting new syllabus), but natural talent isn’t the secret to acing school; no one wakes up knowing about modernist literary movements and statistical trends in mathematics.
I’ve been a private tutor for over 4 years, so I know that everyone has different goals, learning styles and struggles. That’s why I’m here to support your learning and help you feel good about your progress and achievements, without having to give up your social life or burn out. At school I studied Advanced English, Maths Extension1, French (Continuers and Extension), Legal Studies and Latin. I truly loved all of my subjects, and I’m confident and excited to help you feel as good about your studies as possible.
Now that I’m out of high school, I’m studying a Bachelor of Arts/Laws at the University of Sydney (with a major in Spanish and minor in International Relations). I’m playing soccer with my high-school team, not doing much reading for leisure (law has me reading too much already), and searching for a new tv show or movie to watch.
