Hi there! My name is Daniil, and I’m studying meteorology as part of my Bachelor of Science at the University of Melbourne. Yep, I enjoy the outdoors and camping, and also quite like cycling. Meteorology is the perfect subject for me, as it combines this with my passion for mathematics, which I tutored extensively throughout my final year of high school. I graduated with an ATAR of 99.90, with raw scores of 50 in Maths Methods, 49 in Specialist Maths, 49 in Chemistry and 45 in Psychology.

In tutoring from the perspective of a Year 12 student, I was able to refine my techniques whilst experiencing their benefits in real time. I can personally relate to the feelings of stress and anxiety that can stem from the competitive environment of VCE, and that everyone learns and studies differently. Explaining concepts to my peers allowed me to break down information to its simplest form, maximising efficiency as I explained the relevant content. I was able to discover the optimum methods to succeed in Year 12, and passed these onto my students to vast improvement, whilst ensuring that I catered to everyone’s needs individually. I hope to not only teach the tricks, skill and tips that allow you to improve your results, but also support you and motivate you, because that is just as important. Year 12 can be a challenging year, but I’m willing to help you every step of the way
