A bit about me
Hey there, I’m Chloe!
I graduated from Camberwell Girls Grammar School in 2022 as School Music Captain and achieved top study scores in VCE English, Music Performance, Legal Studies and History: Revolutions (Russia and China).
I personally loved high school, and enjoyed learning both inside and outside the classroom, both of which I believe to be of utmost importance. My biggest passion is music (I play cello, piano and oboe), so I loved being involved in nearly every orchestra, ensemble and performance opportunity on offer. Aside from music, I was also involved in a range of volunteering activities, public speaking competitions, leadership roles, GSV sport teams and events such as the 2022 National Schools Constitutional Convention.
With my extensive commitments also came a need for strong time management, organisational skills and the ability to maintain a balanced workload. These are skills I have certainly cultivated over the years and I would love to share my tips and strategies with you.
In Year 11, I was known as the-girl-who-always-changed-her-subjects (I changed VCE subjects five times), before settling on my final selections, which were still spread across quite a few subject areas. As a result of these experiences, I feel equipped to provide support and advice regarding subject selections and keeping tertiary study options open. I know the feeling of being overwhelmed by the number of choices to be made, and am a firm believer in the value of giving everything a go, in order to work out what you truly love and enjoy.
This leads onto what I aspire to bring to you as a tutor; I am very flexible and aim to personalise lessons and cater to your learning style, needs and what you’d like to get out of them! In addition to providing a wealth of knowledge, resources, writing structures, marking breakdowns, study tips and advice, I can be both a mentor and a friend for you to vent to or ask questions about anything.
After Year 12, I relocated to Canberra to study a double degree of Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Music (majoring in cello performance) at The Australian National University. If you’re thinking of moving out of home for your studies, I’m happy to chat to you about this too! In my spare time, I enjoy bullet journalling, going for walks, watching my favourite sitcoms and catching up with friends for coffee or bubble tea.
I would love to be able to play a small part in shaping your learning journey, and can’t wait to meet you soon!
