It can be difficult keeping track of all the dates, so we have consolidated some of the important dates for the 5 most popular courses in the 3 most popular universities in Queensland.

What is Lowest Selection Rank?

The Lowest Selection Rank is the ATAR (or adjusted ATAR after bonuses) of the last student who received an offer for the course in the previous intake. It can give you an idea of how competitive the course is, but it changes every year depending on demand and applicant scores.

The University of Queensland

UQ (#40 QS World University Ranking 2025) is the oldest and most prestigious university in Queensland, a member of the Group of Eight, and consistently ranks among the world’s top 50.
